To bring back the village. Our gathering place is built on a true foundation of love. Love of cultures, craft products, authentic servitude (not attitude) and most important, unity. Our aim is to bring encouragement to everyone who walks through our doors, in hopes of making your day a little brighter.
Faith - CCH is owned by a Christian family and we operate under the belief that each of us have a purpose. We each are here for a reason, no matter what the world tries to get you to believe. No matter your belief system, you are welcomed. We hope that with each visit you feel true compassion and servitude (not attitude) from the moment you walk through the door, to the moment you depart.
Family - CCH not only welcome’s children of all ages, but our mission is to reach beyond the ages in hopes of truly bringing the village back to the Bay. We hope to inspire each and everyone who walks through our doors to feel like they are apart of the CCH Family.
Fellowship - Becoming a Village means having the ability to dive deep into one another’s life to form bonds and erase the feelings of aloneness. Fellowship is when we take the community and truly encourage, share, and empower one another to go beyond the labels society often puts on us.
On a side note: we would never force our relationship with Christ on anyone, however, it doesn’t mean we won’t expose it to you when the opportunity knocks. I love my relationship with Jesus, and the love He represents. He is the perfect role model for our business and what our customer service should look like.
In any case, just know that you are loved, and we can’t wait to see you walk through our doors.
I had no idea the power behind this verse until I decided to open my own business. The sheer fear of the unknown is crippling and can cause you to make a lot of mistakes when you first start something you’ve never done before. Parenthood, new career, moving away from home, all of it can be a little scary honestly.
My most favorite thing to say when I first started out was that I didn’t know, what I didn’t know. None of us do, so it’s kind of obvious, and yet it’s not. However, staying centered and grounded in the word taught me that when the going get’s tough, that’s when God shows up the most. He did it for me on a number of occasions over the years.
Sometimes I took His words for granted, and it caused me to turn big mistakes into even bigger ones. Talking Fall of 2018 people.😰But just like children, you can’t just walk away from your business, because it’s not just about you anymore. So - you keep toiling away. Thankfully, I eventually was blessed with an euphony. Just focus or “dwell” on the truth, which is actually full of positives. For example, the pure knowledge of what it took me to get to where I currently was, which was a feat of its own, caused me to realize that I did a heck of a lot of good before I even saw opening day. And it was just my husband and I who made that happen. What a truth bomb that was.
So yes, you made some mistakes, but if you refocus your perspective and believe that everything happens for a reason, suddenly those mistakes have a couple of positives in them. Suddenly that tunnel vision caused by worry has cleared up and now you are able to see the real opportunities/answers that were there all along.
So don’t worry, pray on it. Send in a petition for your needs while thanking God for everything He has done for you up until that point, and everything He will do to get you past that point. It’s amazing the difference this can make, because suddenly, the answers are so clear you wonder why you didn’t see it all along.
